Most clients ask the same first question: what will a teleprompter cost for my event? Below are the ranges we actually quote in Florida, what moves the price up or down, and what is included. Every job gets a written quote before you commit, with crew and travel shown as separate lines.

What Changes the Price
- Multi-day events (3+ days): 10% off the day rate.
- Weekends and holidays: +25%.
- Rush bookings (under 48 hours’ notice): +50%.
- Travel: we are based in Tampa Bay. Jobs within 50 miles carry no mileage; beyond that we bill mileage, plus a per diem on overnight trips. Travel is listed separately and never folded into the day rate.
- Equipment: a camera-mount prompter for a video shoot costs less than presidential glass, confidence monitors and a stage setup for a keynote.
What Is Included
- An experienced operator who loads, formats and runs your script live
- Setup and testing before doors or call time
- A rehearsal pass with each speaker
- Live edits when the script changes at the last minute
- Coordination with your house AV or production company
How Booking Works
- Send the date, venue, number of speakers and the setup you need.
- We send a written quote that lists operator, equipment, travel and any overtime terms.
- A 30–50% deposit holds the date. The balance is invoiced after the event.
Ways to Keep Costs Down
- Book early. Two weeks’ notice avoids rush pricing; allow three to four weeks during political season.
- Bundle days. Three or more consecutive days earn the multi-day discount.
- Send a near-final script early. Less reformatting on site means less time on the clock.
- Tell us what your AV company already provides. If they supply monitors or switching, we do not duplicate it.
